Day 1:
Departure Flight.

Day 2: Paris
Arrive Paris airport, meet your Teach By Travel tour manager, and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Orientation briefing before dinner and overnight in Paris.

Day 3: Paris
Guided city sightseeing tour of Paris. Enjoy the Tuileries Gardens, Place de L'Opera, the Eiffel Tower, Place de la Concorde, and much more, concluding with entrance to arguably the most famous art museum in the world, the Louvre. See the ever-smiling Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, Winged Victory, and the Egyptian Room. View paintings by Raphael, Da Vinci, Titian and so many more artists.

Day 4: Paris - Chateaux
Journey outside of Paris to the Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte, a stunning baroque French castle and one-time home to Nicolas Fouquet. Later, enjoy a visit to Chantilly Castle - a mix of Gothic extravagance, Renaissance geometry, and flashy Victorian ornamentalism, the château is surrounded by a moat, lakes, canals, and the lovely Le Nôtre Gardens. Return to Paris for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Paris
Start the day with a visit to Pere Lachaise Cemetery, final resting place of many prominent Parisiennes and artists. On to Sacre Coeur for breathtaking views of the city. Stroll through Montmartre, the artist's quarter, before proceeding to the world-class Musée d'Orsay, featuring art from the Classical, Romantic, Realist, Barbison and Post-Impressionist eras. Special dinner tonight at Restaurant 58 Tour Eiffel. See why they call Paris "The City of Lights" on your Seine River Cruise, followed by an Illumination Tour.

Day 6: Paris - Versailles - Giverny
Morning excursion to the home of the Sun King - Versailles. See the glamour of the Hall of Mirrors, and the splendid Trianon Gardens, for a glimpse of palace life. Continue on to Giverny, home of Monet (in season). Stroll the grounds that gave inspiration to the great painter.

Day 7: Paris
Explore Modern Art today with a visit to the Centre Georges Pompidou, followed by The Musée Picasso, in the heart of historic Paris, and featuring several thousand works of the renowned painter. In addition to the Picasso collection, the museum also features works of Cezanne and Matisse. Dinner and overnight in Paris.

Day 8:
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
