Day 1:
Departure Flight.

Day 2: Barcelona
Arrive at Barcelona airport, meet your Teach by Travel tour manager, and transfer to your hotel for check-in. After a briefing from your tour manager, time to explore on your own before dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Barcelona
Morning guided city sightseeing tour of the Catalonian capital, Barcelona. See the Gothic Quarter, the Olympic Ring, Las Ramblas and more, concluding with entrance to Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, a masterpiece of Art Nouveau architecture. Free time to visit the Picasso Museum, walk along Puerto Olimpico, or visit Gaudi's Parc Guell for a most interesting view of scultptures and mosaics.

Day 4: Carcassonne
After breakfast, your coach will transport you over the French border into the Cathar Province. Visit beautiful castle ruins, destroyed during the Holy Inquistition, in the Pyrennes Mountains. Final destination today is the Middle-Age walled city of Carcassonne. Dinner and overnight in Carcassonne.

Day 5: Avignon
After breakfast, board your coach and cross the Languedoc Vineyards country, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and arrive in Provence, with its 2,500 years of history from the ancient Gauls, to the Francs, the Romans, and the French. Enjoy your visit to Arles, a Roman city with its 2,000 year old theater, surrounded by red-roofed houses. Continue to Trascon and cross the Rhone River to Beaucaire, where the two castles once divided the empire of Charlemagne. See the Pont du Gard Aqueduct, before arriving in Avignon for a walking tour. Dinner and overnight in Avignon.

Day 6: Avignon
Morning visit to the Palace of the Popes before boarding your motorcoach and transferring to the charming village of Baux de Provence, to enjoy its beautiful landscapes. Continue to the walled city of Aigues-Mortes, the gate to Camargue. Free time to take in the picturesque surroundings, before returning to Avignon for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Avignon - Aix en Provence - Paris
Morning transfer to Aix en Provence. Visit the Atelier Cezanne to see the 'Mountain Sainte Victoire' by Cezanne, as well as works by Van Gogh and many others of the Impressionist Revolution of the Arts era. Free time to stroll the city center before boarding the TGV train, which will take you to Paris in 2 hours and 50 minutes, at a speed of 200 m.p.h! Arrive in the French capital with time to relax before dinner and overnight in Paris.

Day 8: Paris
Guided city sightseeing tour of Paris this morning. See the Eiffel Tower, the Latin Quarter, Notre Dame, the Champs Elysees, and much more, ending with an included visit inside the Louvre. Remainder of day at your leisure.

Day 9: Versailles - Giverny
Morning guided tour of the elaborate Palace of Versailles. See the gilded Hall of Mirrors, Apartments, and the Jardins a la Francaise and the Trianon Gardens. Continue to Monet's home at Giverny, and its lovely gardens, inspiration for several of Monet's paintings. Afternoon return to Paris with free time with a Special Farewell Dinner at the Eiffel Tower's Restaurant 58 Tour Eiffel, - from your vantage point, enjoy an unforgettable view of the "Ville des Lumieres."

Day 10:
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
