Day 1:
Departure Flight.

Day 2: Rome
Arrive Rome airport, meet your Teach By Travel tour manager , and transfer to your hotel for check-in. After an orientation briefing, time to explore on your own before dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Rome
Morning guided city sightseeing tour of the Eternal City. See the Pantheon, St. Peter in Chains, the Colosseum, Roman Forum and more, including the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel. This evening, you may want to walk to the Spanish Steps, or window shop along the Via Veneto.

Day 4: Rome - Florence
Board your coach and drive north to Florence, where the sights of Florence await you on your guided city sightseeing tour, including the Duomo, Santa Croce and the Doors of Paradise. No visit to Florence would be complete without entrance to the Accademia to see the world-famous 'David.' Afternoon free to shop for treasures along the Ponte Vecchio. Dinner and overnight in Florence.

Day 5: Florence - Venice
Head north across the Apennine Hills and through the plains of the River Po to Venice. The charm of Venice is yours today on your morning guided walking tour. See the Bridge of Sighs, Plaza San Marco, the Grand Canal, St. Mark's Basilica and the Palace of the Doges. Stroll through the tiny winding alleys, and watch the gondolas paddle down the canals. Free afternoon for the excellent shopping Venice offers. Dinner and overnight in Venice.

Day 6: Venice - Zermatt
Depart Venice this morning and travel to Stresa on Lake Maggiore. Surrounded by mountains and sprinkled with grand hotels, villas, parks and gardens, you can have a magnificent view of the far-away Alps. Time to explore before transferring to the cog railway mountain train, which transports you to the lovely village of Zermatt, at the base of the Matterhorn.

Day 7: Zermatt - Lausanne
Free time to take in the spectacular surroundings before traveling to Lake Geneva and Lausanne for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Lausanne - Paris
Board the high-speed TGV train to transfer to the City of Light, Paris. Dinner and overnight in Paris.

Day 9: Paris
The French capital awaits you this morning on your guided city sightseeing tour. See the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, the Latin Quarter, and more, ending with an inside visit to the Louvre. Free afternoon to explore Paris on your own. Visit the Jardins des Tuileries, the Place de la Concorde, the Grands Magasins, or perhaps the Orsay Museum, with its extraordinary Impressionist collection. Dinner and overnight in Paris.

Day 10: Paris
A free day in Paris! You may want to stroll the cobble-stoned streets of the Left Bank, shop around the Place de la Bastille, or visit Montmartre and Sacre Coeur. Dinner and overnight in Paris.

Day 11:
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
