Departure by coach or flight. Arrive in Washington, DC and meet your licensed tour guide. Lunch on own at historic Union Station.
Your tour will begin with a visit to the United States Capitol building and its new Visitors Center. The Senate and the House of Representatives have met here for more than two centuries follwed by a visit to the Supreme Court. Enjoy an included dinner. Afterwards, arrive at your hotel and check in.
7:00 a.m. Partake of the included buffet breakfast at the hotel.
8:15 a.m. Depart the hotel for a guided tour of Mount Vernon.
11:30 a.m. Arrive in Georgetown for shopping time and lunch on your own. Your tour guide will make suggestions.
1:30 p.m. Visit Arlington National Cemetery, where you'll witness the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Eternal Flame marking John F. Kennedy's Grave.
3:45 p.m. Visit the National Archives.
6:15 p.m. Enjoy your included dinner.
7:45 p.m. City Lights Tour featuring stops at the Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson memorial, Viet Nam, Korean and World War II War Memorials, and a stop at the Kennedy Center rooftop if time allows.
10:00 p.m. Return to your hotel.
7:00 a.m. Enjoy the buffet breakfast at the hotel. Pack bags and check out.
8:30 a.m. Depart the hotel and travel to the fascinating Newseum, Washington's most interactive museum.
11:30 a.m. Visit the landmark Smithsonian Air and Space and American History Museums. Lunch can be purchased at individual expense.
3:00 p.m. Drop by the White House for a farewell to Washington photo opportunity.
3:45 p.m. Depart Washington.
