Day 1:
Departure Flight.

Day 2: Athens
Arrive at Athens airport, where your Teach by Travel tour manager will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Free time before dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Athens
This morning's guided city sightseeing tour of the Cradle of Civilization includes the Acropolis, the Parthenon, the Roman Agora and more. Afternoon visit to the National Archaeological Museum. Dinner and overnight in Athens.

Day 4: Athens - Argolis - Nafplion
Depart Athens this morning and transfer to the Argolis area. Marvel at the engineering of the Corinth Canal. Stop at Mycenae to see the Lion's Gate and Beehive Tomb. On to Epidaurus to view the famous amphitheatre, said to enjoy perfect acoustics. Dinner and overnight in the seaside town of Nafplion.

Day 5: Olympia
Drive through the Peloponese region, dotted with lush greenery, and on to famous Olympia, home of the original Olympic games. See the Temple of Zeus, and the Temple of Hera. Dinner and overnight in Olympia.

Day 6: Delphi
This morning your coach will transfer you to the port of Patras. At Rion, board a ferry and arrive in mystical Delphi, home of the Oracle Apollo, said to dispense wisdom to those who came seeking its advise. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.

Day 7: Athens
This morning, see the sanctuary of the Athena Pronaia, and the Delphi Museum, which houses 'Charioteer', as well as sculptures and architectural remains. Stop at the Monastery of Phophet Elias enroute to Athens.

Day 8: Athens
Free day in Athens to visit Syntagma Square, snack on a gyro, or shop in the famous Plaka. Farewell Tavena Dinner tonight.

Day 9:
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
